Trekking through the Forbidden Forest was nothing to Anthony. At least he knew his way around. He had been doing it since he first changed. It was a completely normal feeling considering he was used to being alone out here. Who was going to hear him screech in pain from changing? Of course he wasn't out here to change to his werewolf. He was merely out here to explore. Who was going to stop him? He clearly figured out no one was going to follow him into the dark forest. So he figured he was safe for now.
He was a man of few words. Not someone to brag about things, but of course he could hardly contain himself when the moon was around the corner. Considering no one knew he was a werewolf unless they figured he was one because of his father, but who was going to judge him? He was nothing like his father. Nothing. And he was glad of that. Being like his father meant being ruthless and that was certainly not what Anthony was. He was a bit more charming. He didn't have a scarred up face as his father did.
He was farther in the forest by now. He really didn't know what he would expect here considering his senses were a bit down. They were always low when it wasn't the full moon, so he couldn't really sense anything. So if anyone decided to come up behind him and spook him, he wouldn't know it until the attack came. Which was a slight bummer considering he would rather know they were then be scared from behind. Of course he could hear the footfalls of the animals around him, so that was at least good on his part. He would know if someone was following him with the footfalls of that person hitting the pine needles that fell from the trees. Of course he wasn't expecting anybody to follow him here, but maybe they were bored, because he could hear someone coming up behind him..

Post by HOLLIE MONTAGUE on Jan 5, 2010 12:34:57 GMT -8
I BELIEVE THAT THIS MAY CALL FOR A PROPER INTRODUCTION -------------------------------------------------------- there was virtually no reason for miss hollie montague to have entered the forest. she had been warned against it almost immediately upon her arrival at hogwarts for the first time that year, though the venetian native had conveniently let such cautions slip from her memory as she pulled a cloak tight about her on her journey over the sloping lawns surrounding the castle and marking her only path to the forest. she often went on long walks, shielded from sight by thick brush in italy, and could not see why someone would take issue with her doing it here.
yet as she set one foot inside the paralyzing darkness, hollie could feel those warnings tugging at her nerves, attempting to ignore the sound of breaking sticks not caused by her own light footfall. after about five minutes of attempted navigation, she was utterly lost. perhaps she mused hopefully, if i simply push on, i'll come upon hogsmeade. this wrongful assumption gave her courage to plunge deeper into the appropriately forbidden forest.
hollie unsheathed her wand from up her sleeve and muttered lumos to ignite the tip, so she would have some light and company as she stumbled over this log, and soaked her foot in that muddy puddle. after another ten minutes, she was pathetically alone and positively terrified, not to mention the lower half of her body was frozen with cold and wet.
a small stretch infront of her in the brush she could hear another person moving about. true, it could have been an animal, but miss montague could not bring herself to entertain such a horrifying notion. so instead, she called out in a voice that held far stronger than she felt, "hello there." her lifted her wand high above her head to increase the area the light touched, and it fell upon a boy she assumed was a student, perhaps a bit older than her. he certainly looked a bit aged, though young in years.

Turning where he stood, he saw the light of the wand first before he saw the person holding the wand. Idiots. Why do they have to put their wands up so high? It could blind someone. Miserably. Anthony wasn't one to like bright lights in his face. Especially when he couldn't see the person holding the stupid wand.
"Put your wand down, you bloody bloke!" He was quite angry having a light shine in his face and blind him. It wasn't even that dark out. Yet maybe it was because he could see just find due to some of the senses that stayed behind when he was in his human form. It was quite annoying having to deal with all these different' senses, but it helped at times when he knew what was going on before anyone else did. It was quite surprising on what things could do.
Pulling his wand out he was nearly ready to fire an hex at the girl. Of course normally a hufflepuff wouldn't do such a thing, but he had a hot tempter. Wasn't his fault genes passed on from family member to family member. He was nearly ready to go at the girl, but of course he was minding his manners. At least this once he was. Other times he probably would just let them loose and wouldn't care who got the wrath.
Now it was just a matter of minutes until he waited for her response, but then again his nose had other issues. What was this girl doing out here? She smelled terrible? Was she following him in here or finding a way to get away from Hogwarts. He could smell wet clothing coming from her and it didn't smell to pretty either. Especially with the mud and water out here, but then again he didn't have much to worry considering he watched his footing the whole way not to step into any puddles from any snow or rainfall that occurred here. If anything at all.
"Why are you following me?"
