ENTRANCE HALL [/size]the large oak front doors of the entrance hall face west, and the inside is wrought of stone, like the rest of the castle. it is described as large, cavernous, and lit with torches at night. dominating the room are hundreds of moving portaits which span to the ceiling, and a looming grand staircase that leads to the rest of the castle.

GREAT HALL [/size]this room is where the students and staff of hogwarts do their eating, and often much socializing. gossip can spread down the house tables faster than the slytherins can spit it.

NORTH CORRIDOR [/size]exit the entrance hall through a door on the left to access a long hall, kept private by a door barring it from the main hall. you can follow it to the courtyard, or dip into one of the unused classrooms that rests just off it.

EMPTY CLASSROOMS [/size]these classrooms haven't been used since the founders era, but they're kept in pretty good condition. come if you need a quiet place to study, or a door that locks from the inside.
